Hi, I’m Rhiannon
I believe that practicing yoga has the power to create meaningful connection and a life you love.
I was introduced to yoga in my formative years by my mother, Karen, a Kripalu-certified yogi who lovingly shared her practice with me both on and off the mat. From my father, Walter, I inherited a love of animals, a deep connection to all living things, and the sense of humor and quick wit that continue to shape who I am.
I’m a lifelong learner, passionate about genuine human connection. I’m dedicated to understanding and overcoming the barriers that limit compassion and prevent us from finding unity in our personal lives and in our communities.
Throughout my service-oriented career, I’ve worked alongside individuals living with the challenges of food insecurity, homelessness, trauma, and addiction. These experiences deeply inform my yoga teaching. I strive to cultivate safe, supportive spaces where people can heal, learn, and grow.
I’m also a devoted mother, a grateful practitioner, and a seeker at heart. When I’m not teaching or practicing yoga, you’ll most likely find me unplugged and outdoors, enjoying live music, or spending time with family and friends.
Humble Roots Yoga is the culmination of my personal and professional journey — a reflection of my love for humanity, my desire for one-ness, and my deep love of yoga.
